Project Vietnam Foundation Gala

This past weekend, Jimmy had the opportunity to attend the Project Vietnam Gala, a wonderful organization based in the Orange County area. They support medical missions to Vietnam in the Spring and Summer. Jimmy has been fortunate enough to attend the spring missions the past two years and continue to support them whenever he can.

This year’s fundraiser was a bit different. We were able to sponsor our coordinator Tina from Vietnam over. She works very hard to get the hundreds of volunteers, medical supplies, logistics, all the ground work year after year for the organization. We finally got a chance to show our appreciation. She finally got to see what we look like without the sweaty scrubs, dirty finger nails, and exhaustion that we endure in a medical mission. Or in particular, what air conditioning feels like in the USA. Below is a picture of some of the volunteers from previous missions in our best red carpet poses.

Please do not hesitate to look up Project Vietnam if you are interested in donating or volunteering for future missions. If you would like more information personally, you can always drop by my pharmacy so I can reminisce about the experience and try to sell you on the grueling but rewarding work involved with it!

Blue Shield of California (Covered CA) networked!

We are happy to announce that our Garden Grove location is now part of the Blue Shield of California and it’s Covered California counterparts!

Outside of some private insurance networks, our last major network that we’re waiting patiently on is Cal Optima. If you have any questions, regarding if we are in your insurance network, please do not hesitate to call one of our stores and have your pharmacy insurance card ready. We will gladly do a network eligibility test!

Email Response

We got your inquiry through the “Contact us” page for our Garden Grove location. However, when we tried to respond to your email we experienced a temporary error which means our response can’t get through your email. If you’re reading this, please give us a call at 714-867-6502.

Regarding the question about transfers. The steps will be as follow:

  1. Get your Patient profile setup! Need your insurance info, that’s why we’re trying to get a hold of you!
  2. Once we can check eligibility with your pharmacy, please go to the Prescriptions–>Transfer Prescriptions tab and input the info to identify your prescriptions with your current pharmacy. We will take that info and send it to them directly. Option B, is for us do it over the phone.
  3. We will contact you once we get the prescriptions transferred over and all the medications are ready for pickup. Usually takes 1-3 business days for other pharmacies to send their transfers over.

We apologize for the inconvenience,  but this was the only way we could think of getting a hold of you and appreciate your interest in our pharmacy!
